What are the requirements to apply for the California Real Estate Salesperson license?

 

To be eligible to take the California Salesperson Exam to become a California Salesperson, you must enroll in 135 hours of California B.R.E. approved courses and present proof of completion certificates for California Real Estate Principles, California Real Estate Practice, and an elective course. We include Legal Aspects of Real Estate as that elective course.

 

 

How long do I have to finish the CBI Real Estate School's  Prelicense courses?

 

You can complete all 3 PreLicensing Courses in as little as 54 days if you wish, however, CBI Real Estate School gives you up to 1 year from the date of enrollment to complete the course.

 

How long is my CBI Real Estate School Prelicense course certificate valid?

 

The course certificates are good for life. There is no expiration date and no deadline required to be met before you apply to take the California State Exam.

 

Are CBI Real Estate School Courses approved by the state?

 

Yes, all of CBI Real Estate School courses offered are approved by the California Bureau of Real Estate!

 

How many questions are on the state exam? How much time to I have to complete the state exam? May I bring a calculator or notes to the state exam?

 

The California State Exam has 150 multiple choice questions and you have 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete them.  You pass with a 70% or 105 correctly answered questions.

 

Do you offer anything to help me prepare for the California Real Estate License state exam?

 

Yes. We recommend you use our CBI Real Estate School Exam Prep to prepare for the California State Exam. The Exam Prep is a must if you want to give yourself the best shot at passing the State Exam on the first try!
